Coaching Enhancement Program


The Coach Enhancement Program is a unique program that is aimed at emerging coaches within the Capital Region. This program will utilize the knowledge of our head coaches and resources from the National Coaching Certification Program to assist coaches reaching the next level of competition.

 

There will be two annual intakes for this program, one for summer based sports and one for winter based sports. All information pertaining to application is delievered via a sports Provicnicial Sport Organization.

 

Ideally the coach will be one or more of the following;

 

  • Involved in the Competition Stream of coaching outlined by the National Coaching Certification Program.
  • Head coach or Assistant coach with a provincial level sport.
  • Has been identified by their National Sport Organization to progress to the High Performance Stream outline by the National Coaching Certification Organization.

 

It will be an expectation of the seleceted coaches to utilize the education and knowledge they gain from this program through educatiing and informing ALL coaches within their sport organization.
