Pillars of Support

The ASDC – Capital Region will consist of four pillars of service; these pillars were developed in consultation and collaboration with the Canadian Sport Centre – Calgary and other ASDC centres.


Performance Programs

Programs are designed to compliment or enhance current sport science & sport medicine services for identified athletes within our regions. A variety of programs will be offered based on regional needs.

Life Services and Winning Edge Seminars

Services are designed to educate and support all athletes, coaches, parents and administrators in a variety of topics related to personal development. These services are to ensure our members are developing as people, not just athletes.


Coach Development

Services offered will focus on the education and support coaches need to advance their knowledge and understanding of athlete development based on the Long Term Athlete Development framework.
